WEEKLY HERALD CUP FINAL 1980 |
35 minutes-worth of silent cine-film footage of our one and only Cup Final victory way back in March 1980. The match was an Edmonton Sunday League Weekly Herald Cup Final (for Division 8 teams) played at the Henry Barrass Stadium in Edmonton, N9. No tripod was used, and as we didn't have enough tape to last the whole match, we only hit the record button whenever it looked as if there might be a shot a goal. |
ROVERS v PERCIVAL 2003 |
Highlights of a Waltham Sunday League Premier Division match between at Home to Percival in March 2003. Percival won the Premier Division title and this was their only defeat. We had won eight matches in a row coming into this game and eventually finished third in the table. Arguably one of the best performances in our history and probably the best-standard game we have ever played in. |
LEXTON HARRISON IN GOAL |
On Sunday 18th December 2011, we had a problem for our game against Enfield Crusaders when goalkeeper Martin Loveday overslept and had to be replaced by outfield player Lexton Harrison. Unfortunately, Lexton had only played in goal at 7-a-side before and didn’t know (or forgot) the goalkeeping rules for 11-a-side ! |
